I seem to be slightly addicted to Facebook atm.  Up until last week I had probably only visited my profile a couple of times, over the last couple of days I have probably spent hours on my profile adding applications, and seeing what my friends are up to.  If you are using Facebook let me know and I will add you as a friend.

As a child a water pistol was an essential toy and even when I went to university the trusty water gun or super soaker was taken with me.  It now appears that a group of people have taken a water pistol fight to the next level, Water Gun Wars is coming to London, sometimes there are advantages for those living in London.  It would be great to hear form anyone who enters the competition and to see some photos on Flickr.

Hi all, this coming Friday I am speaking to members of NAMA (National Association of Mathematics Advisors) about the joys of flickr, podcasting, wikis, del.icio.us and blogs.  I would be grateful if anyone could send me some good examples of the use of these technologies in mathematics, I have the excellent maths in motion podcasts and some student blogs that focus on maths but anything would be good.
