Hi Steve,
I've just received this email from yacapaca;

Yacapaca Authoring Update

We have just launched a new feature aimed at anyone who wants to experiment with the Sony PSP as an educational tool. There is now a separate quiz template optimised for the PSP.

The template is a modified version of the Avatar template, but with size and location of various components moved about to make best use of the PSP's 480*272 pixel screen.

You can compile almost any quiz to run on the PSP simply by selecting PSP from the Template dropdown on the Edit Quiz page.

The limitations are:

No Cloze questions.
No very long questions or answers
Location questions work, but can be tricky - though perhaps that is just my poor joystick co-ordination.
If you want to read more about using the PSP for teaching and learning, here's a <a href="http://www.chalkface.com/blog/?p=255" title="quick intro" rel="nofollow"> .

Strange. I made a comment earlier but it hasn't shown up so I will try again :-)

There are some KS3 ICT multiple choice questions on my website you can use - http://e-subjects.co.uk - which are based around the Nat Strat units. They are currently in moodle format but this is just a text file so it should be pretty easy to strip the formatting.

I will be having a look at the software myself in the next day or so. Sounds interesting. The site gives the impression that the software is free.

Great idea.

I have some KS3 ICT ones on my website - http://e-subjects.co.uk - you can convert. They are currently in a moodle format but it is just a text file which should be pretty easy to strip the code out.

Let me know how you get on and if you need further help.
